Position:  Administrative Assistant / Customer Service Representative

Job Schedule:  M-Th 7:30am-4:30pm, Fr 7:30am-2:00pm

 

Position Summary:

This position will be seated at the front desk and will be the first point contact for any walk ins and will be responsible for answering any incoming phone calls.  This position will include administrative duties but also include all job responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative.   

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests and answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls

  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material

  • Receive, sort, and distribute deliveries

  • Inventory and order necessary office supplies

  • Primary point of contact for assigned accounts and delivers high customer service to existing and potential customers

  • Efficiently manage requests for pricing, job entry, change orders and record alterations

  • Act as a liaison between customers, the sales team, and our production departments to determine customer expectations and ensure those expectations are met

  • Accurately creates and updates estimates, as assigned by the CSR Supervisor/Project Coordinator.

  • Collects all pertinent information from customers needed for work orders and provides it to the correct production department

  • Accurately tracks all projects and enters notes into customer accounts so that orders can be reproduced consistently and cost effectively

  • Communicate with and supports Sales department on any quotes, prototypes, or projects in which they are involved

  • Work closely and communicates effectively with all departments 

  • Provide high quality and efficient customer service while ensuring internal and external customers and company needs are met with regard to pricing margins and products

  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous Administrative and Customer Service experience strongly preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform at a high level

  • Ability to communicate product knowledge, pricing information, and timeframes professionally and effectively

  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and time-management

Position: Warehouse / Material Handler – 2nd shift 

Job Type: Full Time 

Job Classification: Non-Exempt 

Shift: 2nd shift 

Job Schedule: M-Th 3:00pm-1:30am

 

Position Summary: 

Responsible for staging roll stock, cores, and boxes for all press and finishing operations. Electronically and physically receive and put away deliveries and returned rolls from the press and organize materials throughout the facility. Communicate and coordinate with 1st shift warehouse to assist with unfinished tasks and projects. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Review daily schedule for specific roll stock needed at each press. Perform regular walk through of production area to determine schedule progress and job material needs. 

  • Utilize fork lift, pallet jack, or other means to retrieve required roll stock from shelves and take to the correct press or press staging area. 

  • Quickly and efficiently respond to all requests for paper, cores, or boxes outside of the standard walk-through times. 

  • Receive roll stock, core, and box deliveries, accurately confirming items and quantities on packing slips and accurately recording receipt information into the company software system 

  • Use forklift or other means to place stock in the correct storage location, assuring accuracy of the quantity and location. 

  • Retrieve returned rolls from presses and ensure returns are labeled, re-entered into inventory in the computer system, and put back in the correct place in the warehouse. 

  •  Perform monthly and quarterly physical inventory counts. 

  • Maintain the warehouse area in an organized and safe fashion. Perform routine clean-up and organization as necessary. 

  • Wrap pallets and prepare final product for shipping as necessary. 

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities: 

  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills to work as part of a team and communicate with the production staff. 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and be proactive. 

  • Strong detail orientation and organization skills. 

  • Previous experience with operating forklift preferred; forklift license strongly preferred 

  • Working knowledge of computers and ability to learn new software system 

  • Ability and willing to be cross trained in other areas as needed 

  • Routinely and safely lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs, 10-20 feet in distance regularly; 75 lbs+ occasionally (Passing Key Assessment pre-employment testing is required)

Position:  Press Assistant – 2nd shift

Job Type:  Full Time

Job Classification:  Non-Exempt

Shift:  2nd shift

Job Schedule:  M-Th 3:00pm-1:30am

Position Summary:

Responsible for preparing printing presses before and after jobs to ensure smooth transition of jobs and minimal downtime for the press.  

Responsibilities:

  • Follows Viking press schedule and pulls all orders ahead of production schedule.

  • Set-up (including mixing ink) and cleaning of presses including machine components and cylinders.

  • Pulls correct tooling as documented on work instructions.

  • Examines cylinders prior to mounting to ensure they are defect free and have good gears and bearings.

  • Ensures the proper cylinder is used (hard case, A-B-C) and cylinders are of the correct tooth size & correct undercut prior to use

  • Checks plates for defects prior to mounting. Informs Production Supervisor and/or Pre-press department of the defect and works together to troubleshoot problem

  • Mounts correct quantity and number of plates based off listed colors and guidelines for production

  • Follows all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. Reports all safety concerns or issues to their immediate supervisor.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to read and use ruler and understand fractions.

  • Able to routinely and safely lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs, 10-20 feet in distance regularly; 75 lbs+ occasionally (Key Assessment pre-employment testing is required)

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to accurately complete high volumes of work.

  • Able to function successfully in a self-managed environment
