Job Schedule:  M-F 6:30am-3:00pm.  M-Th 3:00pm-1:30am (2nd shift schedule)

Location:  Nisswa, MN

Position Summary:  Responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions. Meets safety, housekeeping, quality, scrap, and productivity quality standards. Sets up and operates a flexographic printing press.

Responsibilities:

  • Review job ticket and work with Press Assistants to ensure job is set up properly on the press per required specifications and job notes (ink, dies, stock, plates).

  • Assist in setting up job and changing over to next copy or job.

  • Run the job setup on the press and log data related to the job setup in the LabelTrax system.

  • Run the job per specifications and log when completed, noting material used, etc.

  • While running the press, review printed rolls for quality and consistency related to all aspects of the labels including color registration and die cut.

  • Move finished roll to finishing department and breakdown/clean machine

  • Communicate with Shift Supervisor and/or Production Manager regarding any issues with the labels and dies.

  • Ensure proper data collection for each job, including job notes on material and time variance.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting of the press along with the Press Assistant and Supervisor.

  • Maintain the work area and machines in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed company policies and safety regulations.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Three years press or printing related production experience

  • Knowledge of flexographic printing process/equipment.

  • Understand press operation and basic troubleshooting/maintenance.

  • Strong, reading, writing and communication skills.

  • Must be detail oriented and organized

  • Must be able to operate a high volume of work and maintain accuracy

  • Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., 10-20 feet in distance regularly; 75 lbs.+ occasionally

Position:  Customer Service Representative

Job Type:  Full Time

Job Schedule:  M-Th 7:30am-4:30pm, Fr 7:30am-2:00pm

 

Position Summary:

Provide customers with exceptional service in response to orders, questions, and concerns. The Customer Service Representative will work together with the management and sales team to serve our customers by understanding their expectations and then communicating and coordinating our resources to achieve the desired outcome. 

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage requests for pricing, job entry, implement change orders and record alterations

  • Responsible for monitoring production and due dates, communicating with mid-management and preparing jobs for billing.

  • Primary point of contact for assigned accounts and delivers high customer service to existing and potential customers

  • Identifies, recommends, and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce costs

  • Act as a liaison between customers, the sales team, and our production departments to determine customer expectations and to ensure those expectations are met by working with the production team.

  • Accurately creates and updates estimates, as assigned by the Sales Support/Project Coordinator.

  • Collects all pertinent information from customers needed for work orders and provides it to the correct production departments

  • Accurately tracks all projects and enters notes into customer accounts so that orders can be reproduced consistently and cost effectively.

  • Communicates with and supports Sales department on any quotes, prototypes, or projects in which they are involved.

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of previous Customer Service experience highly preferred

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Excellent planning, organization, communication (written/verbal), and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to successfully interact with internal peers and management as well as vendors and outside agencies.

  • Ability to communicate product knowledge, pricing information, and timeframes professionally and effectively

  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform at a high level, to support our high volume of inbound calls

  • Ability to budget time well, keeping several projects going at the same time while actively managing and anticipating deadlines.

  • Self-starter who likes to take on projects and see them through to completion.
